Position Summary The HRIS Analyst works with the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and is involved in implementation and configuration, including integrations, maintaining the system, implementing process improvements, ensuring data quality, training functional and end users and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS. The position is also often one of the go-to subject matter experts for the HRIS system used in the organization. The position supports all HRIS functions such as timekeeping, payroll, absence management, advanced compensation, core HR, and benefits and any other future adoption areas such as recruiting, talent management, learning and development and workforce planning. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years HRIS analyses and configuration experience, as well as working with HR applications (Workday preferred) Prior Workday, or other HR application, functional experience including configuration of business processes, integrations, security and other areas. Knowledge of Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) tool set is preferred Experience in reporting through an HRIS system and providing data and analysis to business stakeholders Experience creating dashboards and self-service analysis tools preferred Proficient MS Office Suite Skills: Word, Access, Teams, Outlook, etc. and advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience manipulating complex data sets Aptitude to learn and adapt to changing business requirements Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a strong self-starter Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to interact with all levels in the organization and cross-functional departments, such as IT and Payroll Timely execution and decision making, with ability to manage competing priorities Project management experience including project planning and execution Strong customer-focus and commitment to quality and continuous improvement Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in business or information systems Responsibilities/Essential Functions/Job Duties Supports daily activities, maintenance and configuration of the Workday System Design, develop and provide insights on reports and dashboards Research and test new functionality and features within Workday including system releases, enhancements and fixes Identify, recommend and implement best practices, standard methodologies and process improvements to support business goals Support business users with technical issues by investigating problems and developing solutions Work with business to understand business requirements, create technical documents and produce high quality solutions and integrations that are made to best practice Act as Workday functional expert with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints, integrations, etc. with HCM, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting and other future product enhancements Support the process for mass data loads via EIBs Support the design, configuration, testing, administration and deployment of new functionalities of the current state HCM solution Supports data management activities including data audits, data cleanup strategy, creation of cleanup tools (EIBs, etc.) and manual cleanup work Assist and provide support on HR production issues Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the functional and technical impacts of Workday configuration decisions Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements Maintain accurate security role permissions and create new roles as needed Creates and maintains standard reports and responds to data requests for ad hoc reports. Reports will range from simple listings up to highly complex reports using advanced reporting tools and techniques. Reviews Workday upgrade release documentation and creates testing plan with key business owners to review new functionality and adopt new features Optimization, adoption, and championing Workday for the global enterprise Use influence and expertise to promote an atmosphere of cohesiveness and focused collaboration between all the members of the team in the interest of driving the product forward
